Nexans fibre cable UD can include MM62.5, MM50 and SM G652fibres.

For MM we offer different grades of fibre to suit yourapplication: GIGAlite, GIGAlite II, GIGAlite 3 (MM50 only) orGIGAlite 4 (MM50 only).

Installation

• Set cutter blade at 1.50 mm
• Cut 10 cm of the outer sheath to access ripcord
• Use ripcord for cutting and removing the sheath up to 3 m inone operation

Construction

1. Gel filled tube containing up to 24 individually colouredfibres
2. Dielectric FRP armour :
   from 2 up to 12 fibres : 4 x FRP and 5 fillers
   from 14 up to 24 fibres : 5 x FRP and 5 fillers
3. PE outer sheath
