For the contractor called upon to install door chimes, buzzers and horns, Friedland offers a wide range of quality products from which to choose.

They can be hard-wired, either mains operated or powered by battery or an external transformer, or wire free with a 50 to 200 metre range between push and chimes. Whichever mode of operation is selected, there is an extensive choice of sounds and designs.
Most of the fixed wall mounted and mains voltage chimes have a two-note facility, one for the front door and the other for the back door. The electronic chimes will either play 25 tunes in rotation or the householder can select one from a wide choice of tunes. For fire alarm and general industrial and commercial applications, Friedland also offers security bells available in red and grey and in a wide choice of voltages. There is also a selection of security horns.
Complementing the chimes is a wide range of pushes in various finishes and styles, including lighted versions.
The Libra wire-free chimes come with a lithium battery operated bell push and an alkaline battery operated chime (batteries for chime not supplied), plus a wall-fixing bracket. Most chimes will provide either a two or four note chime sequence. A choice of operating ranges, from 50 metres to 200 metres is offered, and there are versions of the chime with a flashing light designed for people hard of hearing or for use in noisy environments or where quiet is required.
For the user who doesn’t want to buy batteries for the chime, a version is available that can be plugged into a 220-240V mains socket outlet. It is also possible to obtain a Libra Extender that allows the adaptation of a wired chime or a bell push to be used with a Libra wire free chime.
The bell push and chime can be coded to prevent interference from a neighbouring Libra chime.
All products have a three-year guarantee.
Friedland is a Novar group company.
