Question: : In terms of miniature circuit breaker (MCB) dimensions, where did the breaker construction dimensions come from?

Also, for the 17.5mm size, how was this arrived at, and are there any standard references for the dimensions to be maintain in order to design an MCB - SP?

Please provide the standard clauses and references that will help to us.

Answer: The dimensions originated from the German DIN standard, and relate to the universal type DIN rail and module accessories mounting system.
