Q & A of the Day - Where can I get data for Federal Electric MCCBs?
Question: This is, possibly, not a technical question, but I'm trying to get hold of technical data for Federal Electric MCCBs. Does anyone know who bought them out?

Answer: This depends on what devices and what boards they were fitted into.
Some devices that are now obsolete can now be replaced with a Square D breaker, with the use of an adaptor - but this depends upon the board.

There is also a stockist called Birmingham Technical Supplies, which still has stock of some Federal breakers. This stockist can be contacted on (tel): 0121 773 8331.
