Question: Is it permissible to install PVC/SWA/PVC cable in Zones I and II flammable areas? If so, what is the authoritative document?

Answer: Armoured (SWA) cables are usually suitable, BUT are subject to the requirements of BS EN 60079, and also evaluation by the installation designer!
