Question: I have been told that the old six monthly emergency light testing (1 hour) is no longer required.
Now, we only have to complete one monthly test function and a yearly three-hour test, I gather. Is that right?
Answer: You've been advised correctly. The current minimum requirements are for a monthly function test and an annual full duration test.
