Portable Appliance Testing and documentation made easy: Meet Martindale Electric’s advanced HPAT600/2

The HPAT600/2 is designed for simplicity and efficiency, featuring a one-button test selection and a backlit display for ease of use. A single press initiates a comprehensive test for Class I, Class II or lead testing, with no further user interaction required unless a fault is detected. It facilitates a rapid 500V insulation test and allows seamless switching between 250V and 500V test voltages. This flexibility is essential when handling sensitive IT equipment that requires a 250V test. Additionally, the tester offers adjustable pass levels, making it ideal for testing appliances with long power cords or extension leads.

The tester comes with rechargeable batteries and both a mains and car charger to ensure the product is always ready for use. Its lightweight portable design makes it ideal for testing in all locations whether under a desk or at a wall mounted monitor. The display has clear PASS/ FAIL indicators, shows test values on screen and stores test data for up to 200 appliances for on-screen recall, so it is easy to review earlier results when on-site and makes documentation completion simple.

The HPAT600/2 comes with an extension lead adaptor, an earth bond probe with clip, chargers, a handy earth null pin and a sturdy carry case. A comprehensive range of optional adaptor leads are available enabling 110V appliance testing and testing of equipment terminated with 3 phase plugs.
