Question: We need to install a light switch in a kitchen that has recently been refurbished. There are no disabled people within the property and I am assuming that Part M does not come into play for this installation. What is the permissible mounting height for this light switch?
Answer: This light switch must be mounted at a height of between 450 - 1200mm.
