Q & A of the Day – Can I incorporate a socket into the shower power supply?
Question: I am looking for clarification about the supply circuit for shaver sockets. The shower supply circuit - 40A RCD protected - is right next to the location of intended shaver socket, but a long way from any other power source. Can I incorporate a socket into the shower power supply, and what would be the most sensible way to achieve this?

Answer: The short answer is definitely NOT!

Please be advised that all shaver points must be wired from a lighting circuit or fused connection unit. Please see the attached instruction information - click below to download the attachment (.PFD doc - 25.7kB).
