MK Electric has added to its range of stylish slim-line Edge wiring accessories a combination plate that provide sockets for power, digital and satellite TV, data and telephone all in one outlet. Demand for combination plates has arisen principally from the housing market requiring a ‘one neat piece’ solution to overcome the need for many separate wiring accessories to power the multiplicity of home entertainment systems increasingly common in UK homes. Edge combination plates are either rectangular or square, comprising two double switch sockets, back boxes and either a four module 100x50mm Euro sized aperture or an eight module 100 x 50mm Euro sized aperture respectively. The front-plates are available in a variety of finishes to suit individual choice. Installation of a one-piece product is easier and quicker than having to install many different sockets, data points and TV outlet sockets. Also, the sockets and outlets in a combination plate are all precisely aligned so avoiding the possibility of an uneven or unsightly installation. The product is flexible in that customers can order euro TV/data/ and phone modules to their own specification to fit into the euro aperture and back boxes which are available separately for first fix.
