We are looking for an Area Sales Engineer to sell our Cable Management products in the South Humberside, Sheffield, Doncaster, Lincolnshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicester and Burton-on-Trent area. This position is full-time and permanent.
The main responsibilities for this role will be:
- To deliver to a maximum level profitable sales orders for the Company
- To develop and deliver the sales and marketing objectives within your area
- To build and maintain trusting and beneficial relationships with current and prospective customers
- To obtain specifications and to develop sales opportunities
- To maintain to a current level your own knowledge of the competition and market activity
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- A good sales track record with demonstrable knowledge and experience of the market place
- Experience of selling to individuals, Architects, Specifiers, Contractors, Construction Companies, Wholesalers and Distributors within the electrical or related industry.
- Technical certificates and qualifications within relevant building/electrical specialism
- Drive, enthusiasm and self motivation
- Current and applicable UK car driving licence
- IT skills
