We are looking for an Area Sales Engineer to sell our Cable Management products in the East of Scotland. This position will cover Tayside, Fife, Lothian, Aberdeenshire, Morayshire, Invernesshire, Highlands and Islands, and is full-time and permanent.
The main responsibilities for this role will be:
- To deliver to a maximum level profitable sales orders for the Company
- To develop and deliver the sales and marketing objectives within your area
- To build and maintain trusting and beneficial relationships with current and prospective customers
- To obtain specifications and to develop sales opportunities
- To maintain to a current level your own knowledge of the competition and market activity
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- A good sales track record with demonstrable knowledge and experience of the market place
- Experience of selling to individuals, Architects, Specifiers, Contractors, Construction Companies, Wholesalers and Distributors within the electrical or related industry.
- Technical certificates and qualifications within relevant building/electrical specialism
- Drive, enthusiasm and self motivation
- Current and applicable UK car driving licence
- IT skills
