Roger Dangell

Roger Dangell is a Director at MEIT Associates.  He has over 30 years experience in the Electrical Building Services industry and has a wealth of operational knowledge and experience in fit out projects for financial services sector clients.  

Peter Le Manquais

Peter is the Group Technical Director at WILA Lighting and first represented the SLL in the first series of Masterclasses in 2004. Peter started his lighting career as a sponsored student at Thorn 33 years ago. He has always been involved in lighting design and has designed and project managed lighting projects around the world. Peter is a past chairman of the Society of Light and Lighting’s Technical Committee, he chaired the task group that wrote LG 6 “The Outdoor Environment” and has contributed to LG3 and LG7 “Lighting Guide for Offices”. He has been a member of the LIF Technical Board for several years and chairs the Luminaire Technical Committee.

Overview of the Presentation

A review of the fit out project for Nomura International’s new headquarters building at One Angel Lane with a particular focus on the LED lighting of the 80,000 sq ft trading facility.  The use of LEDs as the single light source made this installation the largest of it’s kind in the UK.
