The KNIPEX Pliers Wrench range replaces the need for a set of metric and imperial spanners – the opening width is lasered onto the pliers head (metric on the front, imperial on the back).
These wrenches are great for gripping, holding, pressing and bending workpieces, with smooth jaws that won’t damage components, even chrome. The push button adjustment makes it easy to change the size; the zero backlash jaw pressure prevents damage to edges of sensitive components; the parallel jaws give a solid grip and flexible adjustment of all widths up to the specified maximum size.
KNIPEX Pliers Wrenches can be used for a wide range of tasks e.g. tightening locknuts, exerting pressure to activate the adhesive power of contact adhesives, edge breaking in tile work, snapping cable ties, acting as a small vice and more.
Weighing just 245g, model 86 01 180 offers scaling for presetting the width apart from the workpiece: it has a practical laser-cut adjustment scale that allows the wrench opening to be set before gripping. It also has increased gripping capacity thanks to two additional positions allowing for variable gripping of all widths across flats up to 40mm.
