Thanks to the novel hinge design, the new generation of the KNIPEX classic enjoys 20 percent greater cutting force than the previous model. The cutters have additionally been hardened to 62 HRC, and are extremely sharp and close precisely. This also enables thin copper wire to be cut – even using the tips of the cutters. Thanks to the extended cutters, it is now even easier to carry out work in confined spaces, such as in distribution boxes.
These universal diagonal cutters for soft and hard wire have also been forged from vanadium steel with multistage oil-hardening to ensure lasting stability and high durability.
