The Kopex range of Liquid Tight electrical conduit systems is designed to offer protection against liquid ingression. LT-H conduit is highly resistant to oils and chemicals, including aggressive hydraulic acids. It offers ingress protection to IP66 and 67, when used with KF-F connectors, and operates over temperatures ranging from -50ºc to +130ºc.
Type LT-T conduit has a Limited Fire Hazard covering and is fully compliant to London Underground (LUL) specification as well as MOD defence standards. Both LT-H and LT-T conduits can be used in conjunction with the Kopex Group I, ATEX approved Explosion Proof Barrier Gland. This combined system is suitable for installations where flammable gases or vapours may be present.
Another Kopex Liquid Tight is the LT-PVC version which is a robust general purpose product with a high IP rating against dust and water when used with KF-F or KF-C connectors. UL / CSA is a dual listed copper packed conduit suitable for use in the USA and Canada and complementary KF-F multi-part connectors are made from zinc plated mild steel and malleable iron.
