Question: What is the recommended size for the main equipotential bonding of a public building with its own transformer supply and 500mm tails?
Note that the maximum I can find is for 300mm tails, which is 50mm. Do I need to increase to 70mm? Also, do I need to earth the lighting conductor?
Answer: Subject to the design details of your building, 50mm may be acceptable.
And yes, the lightning protection system should be connected to the building main earth bar/terminal?
