Question: What is the necessary duration of back-up batteries for emergency lighting according to BS standards? Is it two, or three hours?

Answer: BS 5266 allows one, two or three hour battery packs within self-contained emergency lighting luminaires - subject to the respective specification or the specific requirements of the client or project.
