Question: When a new split load consumer unit is installed, where all circuits are protected by 30mA RCDs, should any existing 30mA RCDs be removed - e.g. one covering under floor heating in a bathroom where the supply has been spured from a ring CCT?
Answer: Yes, avoid this if possible - it is not recommended to have 30mA trip RCDs in series.
