Question: If one feeds a sub-distribution board, say to an internal garage or workshop and it is say, dependent on the load, a PVC 6mm or PVC 10mm twin & earth cable, is this earth circuit protective conductor (CPC) adequate if all the test parameters are satisfied?

Answer: Normally yes, so long as the equation in 543.1.3 is satisfied and that the required disconnection time is met.
