Question: I am working on a classroom that requires additional floor boxes being added to a existing installation. Currently, they are protected by a B32A MCB. Having added these additional boxes, will they have to be protected by an RCD?
Answer: RCD protection may be required for the additional floor boxes if specified by your client, or deemed necessary by a designer's risk assessment. Otherwise no.
