Cfl-ni ban - does it pay to switch to the new Philips PL LED lamps?

Question:
From February 2024 onwards, we can no longer buy CFL-ni lamps. So, I was looking for alternatives from Philips and have some questions:

Compared to compact fluorescent lamps, what’s the payback time? And is it easy to install? Is it a true retrofit solution?

Answer:
The RoHs directive banned non-integrated Compact Fluorescent lamps indeed. Additionally, energy costs are very high, so it is the right time to switch. The Philips CorePro PL LED lamps save up to 67% of energy in comparison to traditional fluorescent lamps. This means a fast payback period of less than one year for your customers.

On top of that, it’s an easy 1:1 replacement for installers. And with a reliable 30.000 hours lifetime, you offer your customers the benefits of long-lasting LED technology.
