The innovative design of ADE's Logic Six intruder alarm control panel has won it a prestigious IFSEC Security Industry Award:
ADE's Logic Six use proximity based battery-less transponders (key fobs) that enable programming and setting/un-setting of the panel to be undertaken without the use of a keypad. Users don't have to remember an access code nor do they have to turn a mechanical key, thus reducing the chance of errors.
ADE received the Award at a dinner held during the ISEC 2003 exhibition at the NEC, Birmingham, in May. Sponsored by the British Security Industry Association, the IFSEC Security Industry Awards are awarded to products introduced into the market during the preceding 15 months and which are unique in concept, design or performance, whilst pioneering technology that is new to the security industry, or that meets a previously unsatisfied customer demand.
More about Logic Six:
Logic Six comes with two pre-learnt key fobs and a built-in reader so that it is ready to use without the contractor having to carry out any programming. Facilities like part set, walk test and entry time are simple to implement by the selection of only three switches located within the control panel. Users merely present a key fob to the reader. They don't have to remember their great aunt's birthday as an access code nor do they have to turn a mechanical key. Measures to reduce false alarms are incorporated in the panel, in line with current industry requirements and ADE's recently developed Accenta and Optima G3 panels.
