With a refinancing deal successfully completed for its parent company (Hagemeyer UK), Newey & Eyre (N&E) has now unveiled a new management team, charged with reinvigorating the business for the 21st century:
Bill is assisted by deputy general manager, David O'Byrne, who has joined the business with 18 years' experience in electrical retail (Dixon Stores Group and Time Computers) and immediately prior to joining N&E he spent a year in a turnaround role at Bewise Ltd.
Thomas Hammerschmid has been appointed as financial director for Newey & Eyre. Previously head of accounting and reporting for Hagemeyer Deutschland for three years, Thomas has also worked as chief financial officer for Hagemeyer Austria for three and a half years.
David Peet, who has been with Newey & Eyre for 21 years (most recently as sales & service director, south) is promoted to the role of operations director and Larry Pattinson becomes sales director. Larry has 30 years' experience in the electrical industry and was formerly director of the Data Networking Division of the business.

Also joining the senior management team are Marketing Manager, Jeremy Harris who has been with the company for over 12 years; HR Manager, John Holmes who joins from Hagemeyer UK sister company, Parker Merchanting and Tony Holland, previously with Time Group, who takes on the role of National Projects Manager - Branch Operations.
