Synthesis by Cooper Lighting and Security provides the requisite balanced lighting by using a wide-distribution lens for uniform upward illumination, combined with a choice of louvres for direct downward illumination of the working plane.

Featuring an elegantly curved, slim-line profile that measures only 66mm in depth, this suspended luminaire is constructed from extruded aluminium, with either a silver-grey or white powder-coated finish. It is supplied with two 1.5m-long yoked suspension wires, which are easily adjusted to length by means of an ingenious yet simple clutch mechanism, allowing the luminaire to be mounted as close as 150mm to the ceiling.

Utilising twin T5 lamps (28W or 35W) and high-frequency control gear to maximise energy efficiency, Synthesis comes with either a ribbed cross-blade louvre for general-purpose applications or a 65degree-1000cd/m2 louvre for use in VDT office lighting schemes.

Fully integral emergency versions are available as standard, and these can be specified with automatic testing functionality if required.
