This product is part of the Modicon M221 range, an offer of programmable logic controllers for hardwired architectures. This serial line cartridge is a communication extension which support transmission rate 1.2kbps to 115.2kbps for bus length of 15m for RS485 and 3m for RS232. This product requires minimal installation and offers tremendous versatility. There is no insulation between lines and internal logic. It has non isolated serial link communication port protocols like Modbus master/slave and RTU/ASCII or SoMachine-Network. Its dimensions are 35mm (Width) x 15mm (Depth) x 41mm (Height). It weighs 0.015kg. This cartridge is compatible with Modicon M221C PLC.
