Philips Emergency Lighting Kits are designed to convert general lighting luminaires into emergency luminaires — quickly, easily and on site. A choice of two kits are available to suit different types of luminaires: the built-in kit is designed to use with linear luminaires, like waterproof and batten luminaires; the independent kit is perfect for recessed luminaires, like panels and downlights. Each kit consists of an Emergency LED driver and a LifePO4 (lithium iron phosphate) battery. In case of an emergency, luminaires will switch to battery mode to provide sufficient emergency indoor lighting for three hours. Quick and easy to install, the emergency lighting module in the kits eliminates any complexity thanks to an LED indicator and a self-test (ELP) or manual test (ELB) option for added peace of mind that the emergency lighting mode is operating correctly. The battery compartment is also easy to open for fast and easy battery replacements. Philips Emergency Lighting Kits can be bought as an addition to many of our luminaires, so there’s no need to decide whether you need emergency lighting upfront or not. Convertible emergency lighting is possible even after your luminaires have been installed.
