Application

For use on protective multiple earthed (PME) electricalservices. These cables are designed for use in buildings due totheir fire performance characteristics. Single and three coreversions are available. 

Fire performance

• Low smoke: BS EN 50268 1 & 2.
• Halogen free: BS EN 50267-2-1.
• Low toxicity: BS EN 50267-2-1.

Design

1. Conductor

• Class 1 Solid Aluminium in accordance with BS6360 and IEC60228.

2. Insulation

• XLPE compound type GP8 to EN60811 / BS7655-1.3

3. Bedding(3 Core Only)

• Synthetic bedding tape, approx. 0.5mm thick

4. Concentric combined neutral/earthconductor

• Annealed copper wires applied helically around phaseconductor(s).

5. Sheath

• Orange LSHF compound type LTS 1 to BS 7655-6.1 or EN 60811
