‘Bring a ray of sunshine to those dark winter days’, says major electrical wholesaler WF Senate. With the firm’s new promotion, its electrical contracting and installation customers could walk away with a brand new Ford Transit Connect van – with many other prizes too! James Hunt reports:
Do you want a new van for your electrical contracting or installation work? Or need one because your old model is getting a bit long in the tooth? Well, now’s your chance, because with leading distribution of electrical supplies and services, WF Senate, you could win a brand spanking new Ford Transit Connect van.
The company has announced the launch of what it claims is the ‘biggest and best promotion in the industry’. This new ‘Spend and Win’ promotion, provided – says WF Senate – as a reward for customer loyalty, offers its customers the chance to win this van – but that’s not all as there are a number of other instant win prizes too.
The promotion is set to run until January 31st 2016, and all customers need to do is simply spend a minimum of £300 (ex VAT) in one transaction in branch to receive a ‘peel to reveal’ card. This contains a code that can be entered at http://www.wfsenate.co.uk/spendandwin for customers’ chance to win one of 2,700 instant win prizes. These include an Apple iPad mini, Apple watch, PS4 console and ‘much more’, says the firm.
Importantly, all of the participants will also be entered into a grand prize draw for the chance to drive away in the new van.

The latest design
Ford’s Transit Connect van is a thoroughly up to date model. Commercial vehicles like this need to be practical and functional, but as Ford says, ‘it doesn’t have to look like a ‘box on wheels’. So the Transit Connect is designed to look and feel good, whether you’re inside the cab or standing outside it.
Tough, practical and reliable, the van provides generous load space, with up to 1,000kgs of cargo. A load-through bulkhead also enables users to stow pipes, ladders and other loads up to 3.4m long (depending on the wheelbase).
A choice of advanced petrol and diesel engines, combined with five or six-speed manual transmissions, deliver high levels of power and torque, as well as exceptional fuel efficiency, from 70.6mpg with as little as 105g/km CO2, Ford claims.
