Is it OK to re-use existing tails?

When upgrading a consumer unit is it ok to reuse existing 25mm tails that have been installed from an outside meter box running through a cavity for less than a meter to the consumer unit location?

Yes, of course it is. As long as there is no element of harm on the cables, it is fine.
