What certification do I need for the removal of an electric vehicle charger to be moved from one property to another?

An Electrical Installation Certificate would normally be issued where electrical installation work takes place. It is not typical to issue a certificate for the removal of fixed wiring or equipment from an electrical installation. When the work is completed the installation must be left in a safe condition, and where applicable this may require the safe isolation of a circuit(s). In these situations, although not a requirement of the wiring regulations an isolation certificate can be considered.
