Can you place an EV charge point next to a 5 pin 3 phase socket outlet?

Question:

Can a car charging unit be used and put beside a 5 pin 3 phase socket, while the socket isnt being used for a factory workshop machine?

Answer:

The socket-outlet would need to meet the requirements of section 722 within BS 7671 and the manufacturer’s instructions.

Regulation 722.311 requires a dedicated final circuit for the connection of electric vehicles and therefore based on the information provided it suggests the socket-outlet is not suitable for an EV charger.
