With the KNIPEX MultiCrimp® PV, the most important connections in photovoltaic systems can be made safely and efficiently. It comes with three crimping dies: the 97 39 42 is specially designed for MC4® and MC4® EVO 2 connectors with a conductor cross-section of 4 and 6 mm² (AWG 12/10); the 97 39 08 die crimps insulated and uninsulated wire end ferrules with a cross-section of 0.25 to 6 mm² (AWG 24-10); the 97 39 13 is for uninsulated cable connectors in the 0.5 to 10 mm² range (AWG 20-8).
Thanks to its sophisticated changing system, the crimping dies can be changed quickly and easily without additional tools, keeping workflow smooth and straightforward. The MultiCrimp® PV can also be flexibly extended using optional crimping dies, such as models 97 39 05, 97 39 06 or 97 39 09, allowing it to be customised to meet individual requirements. The ratchet lock, which can be released if required, ensures consistently high crimp quality, even during intensive use, while multi-component handles are ergonomically designed to ensure user comfort.
Specially developed for the installation, maintenance and repair of modern photovoltaic systems, the MultiCrimp® PV (97 33 03) is ideal for PV cables, earthing conductors and cabling between the inverter and meter cabinet.
