Sync Energy has recently installed five of its EV chargers in the grounds of the historic Tollerton Hall, home to high-end automobile retailer Kaaimans International.

The Grade II listed hall, which has previously been a hotel, WWII army base, and school, is now owned by the Kershaw family who are renovating it into their family home and base for their business.
As part of the renovations, the Kershaw’s have installed the EV chargers for tenants and their clients in The Coach House, an on-site commercial space. Wanting dual-socketed chargers with illumination for the evenings, they worked with NEST Group who recommended Sync Energy’s Pro Charger Range.
The chosen charger was the Twin Floor Mounted Pro Charger with Light, ticking all the boxes for power, capacity, and lighting. It features two Type 2 socket outlets, a backlit intuitive colour touchscreen and on screen and RGB LED charge status indicator, as well as built in 4G connectivity, MCB and MID meters as standard.
The featured light and PAS 1899 compliant design ensures easy and accessible charging at all times of the day.
Kaaimans International’s Liam Kershaw said: “Tollerton Hall has become the home for our family and our business, and the installation of EV chargers falls in line with Kaaimans recent launch of our Kaaimans Green sub-sector of high-end electric and hybrid vehicles. Future-proofing not only our home but also our business as more people invest in the future of automobiles.”
Georgia Cichuta, Business Development Manager at Sync Energy, said: “It’s been wonderful working with the Kershaw’s at Tollerton Hall. Being the home of Kaaimans International, this family knows their cars and now visitors to the hall know they can efficiently charge their electric vehicles with a trusted brand like Sync Energy.”
