The range is continuously being developed and enhanced to include new features, improve performance and increase installation efficiency and competitiveness. The new Canalis Plug on Distribution boards are an excellent example of this strategy. Specifically designed for use in applications where KSR medium power Rising Mains are present, the compact design makes this product ideally suited for applications where space is limited. By combining a type B distribution board and moulded case circuit breaker tap-off in one unit, this product not only gives you all the benefits and safety features found throughout the Canalis range of tap-off units, but will also greatly reduce installation times and labour costs by eliminating the need for a stand alone distribution board and cabling. Available in addition to the existing tap-off units but with additional features in a quick and easy to fit package which provides:
Plug-on mounting which can be removed and handled under energised conditions.
Available in 4, 6, 8, 12, 16, 18 and 24 TP outgoing ways.
Factory fitted 250A Compact NS Moulded Case Circuit Breaker incomer .
Optional metered version fitted with PowerLogic PM750 multifunction meter incorporating pulsed and Modbus communication.

The Plug-on Distribution Boards complement the new Canalis range which has been generally enhanced to include features such as IP55 ratings as standard, halogen free materials, sprinkler proof testing, white finish on all medium and high power products. The ever evolving and improving product ensures that the use of Canalis is wide ranging, from lighting distribution systems in retail, hotels and logistics centres to high power links providing power distribution from a transformer.
