Aberdeen Royal Infirmary's new £110 million Emergency Care Centre was constructed using bespoke solutions never before seen in the UK health sector.
A building services team of 170, including many local operatives hired from Aberdeen and the surrounding area worked on the project -- which will benefit more than 70,000 patients a year.
In addition to installing the Emergency Care Centre's vital internal services, NG Bailey has utilised its Offsite Manufacture division to produce a multi-service corridor module, which is unique to the project, and the first of its type to be created for use in the UK health sector.
