Meeting the 20% off the job obligation and staff/student CPD – best practice session

Looking for ideas on how your apprentices can fulfil the 20% off the job training requirement, or how to provide CPD for staff and students? In this best practice session, industry charity National Electrotechnical Training (NET) and Leicester College will outline a number of activities that don’t just qualify as off the job training, but also bring great benefits for students, training providers and employers. We’ll look at areas such as putting your apprentices up for a challenge whilst positioning their college and employer in the limelight in the process, empowering apprentices to take responsibility for own learning, and encouraging them to become mentors and integrate into an industry partnership.
