We have a fantastic opportunity for a Regional Specification & Contractor Manager to identify, manage and drive project-activity with Contractors and Specifiers.
Reporting to the Nat. Sales Mgr. (West), the successful candidate will be responsible for securing major projects and specifications.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- To promote and defend the brand equity of the Marshall Tufflex brand and promote its differentials inc. recycled Upvc content.
- To complete and maintain appropriate data collection, analysis, and reporting. To include completion of a Project-pipeline and logged appointments.
- To be able to demonstrate orders won through their own activity with contractors and specifiers.
- To identify opportunities, negotiate and secure profitable, commercially-sensible agreements for project and specification business across your allocated region. Ensure these opportunities are followed through to order-completion.
- Contribute information on major projects won to Marketing to ensure a supply of case-studies.
- Implement a contact strategy to ensure your regional contractor and specifier customers are seen regularly and with purpose.
- To be an integral part of the Regional team, contributing to and developing strategies/tactics to ensure the region achieves its targets.
The successful candidate will ideally be able to prove a successful track record in:
- Winning project-orders by working with contractors and specifiers within Electrical Industry.
- Having relationships with contractors and specifiers.
- Negotiating profitable commercial agreements at a regional or national level.
- Product & Technical Knowledge – knowledge and technical understanding of a broad product portfolio.
- Sales and commercial presentations.

- Business Travel.
- Full UK Driving licence is essential.
