We have a new opportunity for a National Sales Manager (South) to join our Sales Team.
The main purpose of this role is to drive UK sales activity and performance within the Company’s Cable Management Sales Team, product range and service offer. To improve analysis, planning, drive and focus across the team with the aim to deliver targeted sales and marketing objectives for the UK.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
• Responsible for the day to day and long-term management, motivation, focus and drive of the UK Sales Team (South) and achievement of UK sales and margin targets.
• To be part of the UK National Sales Management Team, contributing to and developing strategies/actions aimed to drive and promote attainment/delivery of the targeted profitable sales performance for the Company.
• To maintain, with the UK Market place, a high awareness and customer value status for the company its products, services and personnel.
• To complete and maintain appropriate data collection, analysis and management reporting.
• Maintain presence and contact with your team, key customer and buying groups.
• Develop, coach, direct, motivate and manage your team to enable delivery of agreed UK sales performance objectives.
The successful candidate will ideally have experience with:
• Sales delivery – to individuals, architects, specifiers, contractors, wholesalers and distributors within electrical or related industries. Knowledge and demonstrable track record of negotiating profitable sales agreements.
• Managing financial elements of a sales function.
• Area & project management – experience of managing a sales team and developing sales through a range of channels, building trusting and supportive customer relationships.
• Product & technical knowledge – knowledge and technical understanding of a broad product portfolio.
• Experienced giving presentations.
• Full UK Driving licence is essential.
