We have a new vacancy for an Area Sales Manager to join us working as part of the Company’s Cable Management UK Sales Team covering South Wales.
The Area Sales Manager is a key role within the UK Sales operation, targeted with developing, managing, and growing sales activities and driving profitable sales performance across the allocated region / sales area.
This position will be a full-time / permanent role and will ideally suit someone located within the sales area.
Main responsibilities for this role are as follows:
- To develop and drive forward sales plans and objectives for your area
- Build strong and beneficial relationships with key personnel and customers across the Group
- To deliver profitable sales performance to target levels
- To provide reports and insight as to opportunities to grow and develop your sales area
Candidates must have or demonstrate an ability to apply, develop and deliver:
- a good sales track record with demonstrable market knowledge and experience
- experience of selling in the electrical or construction marketplace
- appropriate technical certificates and qualifications within relevant construction specialism
- the drive, enthusiasm and self-motivation to underpin success
- current and applicable UK car driving licence
- appropriate IT and business management skills
