Consisting of the first two days of the LIA Certificate, Lighting Fundamentals is now available as a stand-alone course. It can prepare you for a career in lighting, or give you a grounding in lighting if you work in a related profession.
It looks at how light is produced and measured, how light is received and processed by the eye and the emerging considerations and trends which are shaping the sector.

This course is particularly useful for those who are new to working in, or with lighting, either in manufacturing, design or the wider lighting community. It should ideally be taken as the first two days of the LIA Certificate.
