Incoming devices and RCDs are already fitted when the board is delivered, and all MCBs and RCDs are simply plugged in giving instant guaranteed connections, with Starbreaker it’s easy to plug in an additional MCB without disturbing any other MCB or the busbar, another safety feature. There is a full DIN rail to allow Starbreaker to be easily customised to support the requirements of today’s modern living with a wide selection of DIN modules, timers, bell transformers contactors and meters all of which can be fitted into any unused way.
Starbreaker’s stylish and simple to fit enclosures come in a semi-matt finish available in both insulated and metal cased versions. They include fully insulated busbars for greater personal protection to the installer, and, to help provide for every eventuality, there are large knockouts provided for rear cable entry, and side knockouts for surface or hidden wiring. Every consumer unit in the range is of course type tested to the latest British and European standards.
All this means that Starbreaker couples proven Crabtree quality and design with ease of installation and safety for a winning combination saving electricians time on site to make jobs more cost effective than ever. For larger installations Duplex two tier units are also available.
