The introduction of new packaging for the Horstmann range of domestic heating controls and system accessories creates a pack that permits easier handling and storage during transit and in the warehouse and branch.

Previously packs have been of the plastic blister type concept but the new design is based on printed cardboard boxes featuring the distinctive new Horstmann logo, a full colour image of the product and clear product designation from front and side viewing.

For merchants who prefer to display products on Euro Hook displays there is an integral hanging loop.

“We’ve been consulting with our merchants and distributors for some time about packs and product presentation with boxed products clearly the preferred option,” explains Horstmann sales director Paul Lovegrove.

“All around they present a neater, more compact solution that is easily recycled and customer friendly and on a wider front, are part of a general upgrading of the Horstmann name and product presentation that has seen a well-received range of posters and graphics introduced into many merchants branches."

“Consumers and wholesalers are increasingly aware of the need to control costs and the impact of packaging on the environment and we are very happy as a key part of their supply chain to play our part,” he concludes.
