Who should attend?
This course is aimed at contractors looking to gain a basic understanding of the requirements of BS5839 Part 1 and who wish to progress to one of the additional fire alarm modules
There are no formal entry requirements to attend the course, however it is ideally suited to practicing electricians or people who wish to ensure others are doing the job correctly, such as risk assessors, site agents or landlords.

What will I learn?
The course will provide a general understanding of how to ensure fire alarm systems comply with BS5839. Candidates will gain an understanding of design, installation, servicing and commissioning activities and will also be shown how to complete the relevant certificates.
