In addition to all the electrical manufacturers demonstrating first-hand their new products, this year’s Elex show at Donington Park has just had confirmed a series of free seminars to help electricians get to grips with Part P.

Green Light for Part P
On 29 June 2004, the Government confirmed that Part P, the new electrical safety addition to the Building Regulations, will be introduced in January 2005.
Why has this legislation been introduced?
What impact will it have on electrical industry?
How do we comply?

The NICEIC will be explaining the requirements at the show and discussing ‘competent persons’ schemes, including its own Domestic Installer Scheme.
