Brother UK has launched its new PT-E CUBE range, designed to help electricians and network installers create professional, regulation-ready labels from their phone, tablet or laptop – wherever the job takes them.
Controlled entirely via the Brother Pro Label Tool app or P-touch Editor software, these new keyboard-free models offer an alternative to Brother’s trusted industrial handheld label printers, which feature an integrated keyboard for on-device operation.
Users can control the new PT-E720BT and PT-E920BT through the app to quickly select editable industry and wiring regulations templates, adjust label settings such as length, margins and orientation, and batch print sequential labels. Labels can also be personalised with company logos, QR codes and contact details, and amended or reprinted on the spot via a simple Bluetooth connection.
The new models offer a choice of print widths and capabilities to suit different on-site needs – from every day electrical work to high-volume network infrastructure labelling.
The Brother PT-E720BT is designed for electricians to deliver fast, compliant labelling from a smart device or laptop. We know on-site deadlines are tight and compliance is essential, so the new printer offers flexibility to prepare labels in advance or update them on site. The compact design also means it fits easily into work bags for jobs on the move.
The device prints labels up to 24mm wide and features an auto-cutter for quick, accurate custom-length labels. It’s suitable for a range of electrical applications including warning notices, consumer units, PAT tests, PV and heat pump installations, and patch panels.
Designed for network infrastructure professionals and data engineers, the PT-E920BT delivers clear, compliant identification across complex installations. In data environments where thousands of connections must be correctly labelled, inconsistency can cause costly downtime and the PT-E920BT puts full control in the hands of the user.
The device prints labels up to 36mm wide at a sharp 360dpi and is fitted with an auto-cutter with half-cut functionality – which cuts the label but not the backing paper – for faster, cleaner batch application. It’s suitable for labelling racks and cabinets, port ID, patch panels, equipment and telecoms outlets, as well as LAN and fibre optic cables.
Both printers are backed by Brother's three-year warranty and also feature:
Bluetooth, USB connectivity
Rechargeable Li-Ion batteries, enabling you to label for longer
Compatibility with Brother’s industrial-grade TZe Pro Tapes, including strong adhesive, flexible ID, security, stencil and – for the PT-E920BT – flag options, which wrap around cables to create a clear, easy-to-read tag
All Pro Tapes are made to provide long-lasting identification that stands up to heat, abrasion and sunlight.
