General Terms and Conditions (GTC) for the “Voltimum Widget” Service
General
1.1 Voltimum provides the “Voltimum Widget” service. This service supports manufacturers and other content providers in directing shopping carts and other content to the webshops of wholesalers listed on Voltimum.
Use of the Service
2.1 The “Voltimum Widget” service enables the transmission of content, including shopping carts, from manufacturers and other content providers to the webshops of wholesalers listed on Voltimum.
2.2 The transmitted content is stored on Voltimum’s servers and analysed for Voltimum’s own purposes. These analyses are only made available to third parties in anonymised and aggregated form.
2.3 No personal data from manufacturers or other content providers is transmitted to Voltimum.
Data Transmission and Storage
3.1 The data transmitted to the wholesaler is for simplified data transfer only. Completeness of the transmission is expressly excluded.
3.2 It may occur that data is not available in the wholesaler’s webshop and therefore cannot be transferred to their shopping cart.
Disclaimer
4.1 Voltimum assumes no warranty for the completeness or availability of the transmitted data in the wholesaler’s webshop.
4.2 Users must contact the respective wholesaler directly regarding the handling of the transmitted data.
Data Protection
5.1 Voltimum processes the transmitted data only within the framework of legal regulations and in accordance with its own data protection policies.
5.2 All transmitted data is evaluated exclusively in anonymised and aggregated form and made available to third parties.
Final Provisions
1. The contractual relationship with the user is governed exclusively by UK law, excluding European private international law and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from these terms of use, insofar as such a jurisdiction agreement is permissible, is the registered office of Voltimum.
2. Changes and additions to these conditions must be agreed in writing.
3. These conditions remain binding in their remaining parts even if individual provisions are legally invalid. In place of invalid provisions, statutory regulations shall apply where available. If this would result in unreasonable hardship for one party, however, the terms shall become invalid as a whole.
These Terms and Conditions come into effect upon publication and remain valid until further notice. Voltimum reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be communicated to users in good time.
