UK Lighting Survey 2025: Terms and Conditions

1. Organiser & Service Provider

This survey is organised by Voltimum UK. The technical implementation and administration of the survey is carried out by "Alchemer" on behalf of the Organiser.

2. Eligibility

Participation is open exclusively to individuals aged 18 or older, residing in the United Kingdom and who have an interest in or involvement with lighting or related markets (e.g. consumers, trade professionals, specifiers). Employees of the Organiser or affiliated companies, as well as their immediate family members, are excluded from participation.

3. Survey Period

The survey may be completed between 25th of September 2025 and 31st of October 2025 (inclusive). Responses submitted before or after this period may not be eligible for any incentives.

Please note this survey may close earlier than the date stated above, depending on the level of responses received. This decision is up to the discretion of Voltimum UK.

4. Conditions of Participation

  • Participation requires truthful, complete, and accurate completion of the survey.

  • Only fully completed surveys will be considered valid.

  • Each participant may submit only one survey response. Multiple entries by the same individual will lead to disqualification.

5. Incentives / Rewards (if applicable)

If incentives (e.g. vouchers, prize draws) are offered:

  • Incentives will be distributed by Voltimum up to 4 weeks after this survey has closed.

  • The terms, eligibility, and quantity of incentives will be specified in the survey invitation or promotional materials.

  • Incentives are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

  • The Organiser reserves the right to withhold or withdraw an incentive if these Terms are breached.

  • If distribution is limited (e.g. “first 100 respondents”), allocation is on a first-come, first-served basis.

6. Misuse & Exclusion

The Organiser reserves the right to exclude or disqualify participants in cases of:

  • Misuse or manipulation of the survey

  • Submission of false or misleading information

  • Multiple entries by the same person

  • Breach of these Terms

7. Survey Implementation & Use of Results

  • The survey is conducted by the Service Provider on behalf of the Organiser.

  • The Organiser will evaluate and analyse the results for market research, internal and external reporting, and strategic purposes.

  • Survey responses may be aggregated, anonymised, or summarised in reports, publications, presentations, or online platforms.

8. Data Protection & Privacy

  • The Organiser is the data controller; the Service Provider acts as a data processor.

  • Data will not be shared with third parties outside of those necessary for survey administration.

  • Processing of personal data will comply with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

9. Liability

  • The Organiser is liable only for damages caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.

  • The Organiser accepts no responsibility for technical issues (such as data transmission errors, server downtime, interruptions), loss of data, or other indirect or consequential losses arising from participation.

10. Early Termination or Modification

The Organiser reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the survey campaign in whole or in part (for example, due to technical problems, manipulation attempts, or force majeure). In such cases, participants will be notified via the survey platform or email if applicable.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Subject to applicable law, the exclusive place of jurisdiction is the courts located in England.
