This product is part of the Modicon TM5 range, an High-Performance and Safe IP20 Modular I/O System. This safe logic controller has Intel Xscale 266MHz processor with reverse polarity protection, and a 24 V DC power supply. The controller has integrated fuse (not interchangeable) input protection with fanless cooling. It offers SERCOS 3 (Ethernet) communication network with 100Mbps data transmission rate for the full duplex bus length, with 2 integrated shielded RJ45 ports. It supports maximum 20 safety nodes with 2 internal switches. It reaches Category 4 of safety level conforming to EN ISO 13849, and SIL 3 safety integrity level according to IEC 62061. It is an IP20 rated product. The housing colour is red. Its dimensions are 87.5mm (width) x 75mm (depth) x 99mm (height). It weighs 0.29kg. The Modicon TM5 meets the typical requirements of production and packaging machinery, as well as material handling and assembly systems. This product is certified by GOST-R, C-Tick, cULus and CSA. It meets IEC 61131-2, UL 508, CSA C22.2 No 213 and CSA C22.2 No 142 standards. This product is compatible with motion controller, communicating on Sercos 3 fieldbus. It is installed by mounting on a 35mm DIN rail. This modular IO system provides a flexible and scalable configuration of remote or distributed IO islands by connection with Modicon and PacDrive 3 controllers.
