Modicon M580 dPAC standard module

The Modicon M580 dPAC is part of the EcoStructure Automation Expert hardware controller range. It is a high performance dPAC controller that supports the Modicon X80 I/O catalog. The controller supports up to 1024 discrete I/O channels, 256 analogue I/O channels and 4 local racks of Modicon X80 I/O. It is a high-performance, IEC 61499 compliant field controller based on the widely successful Modicon M580 ePAC. It includes 64MB ECC RAM for programs and data and supports Modbus/TCP, Ethernet/IP and OPC UA and auto discovery. The controler is compatible with most Modicon X80 racks, power supplies and I/O. It weighs 0.85kg (1.9lb). EcoStruxure Automation Expert is a new category of software defined automation, enabling next generation integrated architectures and Industry 4.0 solutions. It complies with IEC/EN 61131-2 and IEC/EN/UL/CSA 61010-2-201, IEC/EN 61000-6-5, IEC/EN 61850-3, EN 50155/IEC 60571, CE ATEX (2014/34/EU), 2014/35/EU, 2014/30/EU and 2006/42/EC standards.
